SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider stage produced for intervention activities a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all consumers website and raise usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
